Tonight was no different -- big storms moved in and hit us hard right as we middle-tier runners were finishing. It's nice to know my times weren't that bad. (Amazingly, my best time ever was in 2002, just a couple weeks after I got a bunionectomy cast off my foot.) Just for historical interest, here's a history of my times in the Twilight:
Chip Time | Pace | Division Rank | Gender Rank | |
---|---|---|---|---|
2000 | 26:16 | 8:34 | 74/107 | 271/386 |
2001 | 25:53 | 8:26 | 44/77 | 216/324 |
2002 | 28:55 | 9:26 | 80/98 | 309/377 |
2003 | 24:10 | 7:59 | 71/177 | 301/688 |
2005 | 25:24 | 8:23 | 62/104 | 335/577 |

Congrats on finishing! I had to make a u-turn to get home from the Y because of all you freaks running in the rain! Does a little lightening make you run faster? ;-)
Lightning *always* makes you run faster. It's one of the top runners' little secrets.
