It came this week, and it's a beaut. I love just holding it, and it makes that awesome click sound that only high-quality SLRs make.
Here's a short list of features:
- 6.3-megapixel resolution for photo-quality poster-plus sized enlargements
- EF-S 18-55mm, f3.5-5.6 zoom lens
- 1.8-inch LCD preview screen
- 2.5 frames-per-second continuous shooting speed with 4-shot burst mode
- Quick-return half mirror (reflectance ratio of 40:60, no mirror cut-off with lenses up to EF 600mm f/4)
- Other technical jargon I copied from Amazon
But the one thing it doesn't come with? A damn storage card! I'm walking around the house taking pictures that disappear forever 8 seconds later.

Phat. My pops has the 8mp version, loves it. Of course, he had camera envy when looking at my tiny one, but that's in the nature of father/son relationships. Canon SD300 forever!
Man, I love this camera so much -- SLRs are the DEAL! Only wish I'd had the option for the 8mp.
