Support the Home Teams

The one silver lining to the growing Republican monolith is that there are always new ways to fight it. Based on FEC filings, here's a handy guide to the companies that supported blue and those who saw red.

As my friend Michael says, "I guess we still get to listen to XM radio but should stop driving." Stop eating too, apparently.

Dem-friendly: Big Lots, Bed Bath & Beyond, Barnes & Noble, Ben and Jerry's (duh), Black & Decker, Borders, Campell Soup, CostCo, CVS, Hasbro, DirecTV, E-Loan, Electronics Boutique, Estee Lauder, Foot Locker, Hyatt, J. Crew, JetBlue, Kaiser Permanente, LL Bean, Macromedia, Mattell, Netflix, Overstock.com, Red Bull, Serta, Sharper Image, Sony, Starbucks, T-Mobile, Trader Joe's and XM Radio.

Avoid like the plague: Best Buy, 7-11, Advance Auto, Applebee's, Avon, Chick-Fil-A, Circuit City, Crate & Barrel, Domino's, Food Lion, Ford, Geico, GM, Goodyear, Goya, Home Depot, Intel, Lexmark, Kroger, Lowe's, Maytag, McDonald's, Muzak, Outback, Papa John's, Phillip's, Reebok, Safeway, Shell, Skyy Spirits, Target, Uno Restaurants, Waffle House, Wal-Mart, Wendy's, White Castle, Winn-Dixie.
