Cry it out: Night 6

Zero crying. None. She sat in bed, sucked her thumb, and a few minutes later I helped her lie down quietly.

Of course, that may have been helped by the 1-hour tantrum she threw rather than let Lisa put her down for her nap. Issues remain and there are many screamfests left to come, but we're getting somewhere.

Oh, and the Heels won today. This calls for a picture!

I remember that "crying it out stage" with my son (now 2). It's SO HARD, but works. Stick to your guns, you'll all be better off.

In case you're wondering how I got here, found your site via Digg ;)

Nice to have you here, Anita. The good news is that a week and a half later, she's a completely different girl at night. Even when she's kind of wound up, she knows to lie down and quietly go to sleep. It's really a miracle program.
