I've tried not to waste people's time talking about the super-cutesy stuff Sophie does that no one else cares about. So instead, let's talk about the time she took a dump on the floor.
It all started normally enough -- I stripped off Sophie's clothes and diaper so she could walk in and out of the shower while I got ready. If I don't do this, she'll stand at the shower door crying to get in. (Side note: she used to bathe in the tub next to the shower, but in a moment of really bad judgment we turned on the jacuzzi jets and now she won't go near the tub.)
Anyhoo, she's standing outside the shower naked waiting for me to finish rinsing up, when suddenly a little brown ball hits the floor. And then she starts crying because I don't think she'd ever realized until that moment that the contents of her dirty diapers actually come from inside her.
The rest of the morning was me cutting my shower short, cleaning her up while dripping wet and cold, and also calming a dog freaking out over the rain.
Hope that wasn't too cutesy. Next time we'll talk about her endearing names for things and the time she gave her doll a kiss.
