A couple weeks ago, I asked the question: What's up with Zilla.com? Their splash page promises "really big search" coming in the fall, after having promised really big search coming last spring and in 2005.
So, is this a hoax or marketing ploy? I hope you're sitting down because: it's the latter. In fact, you can buy the domain Zilla.com for $770,000. Or, if you don't like that one, how about ZillaSeek.com for $47,500? ZilaNet.net is going for $7,700.
The seller, one Mark Blumenthal, owns an entire suite of Zilla-related site names, on the theory that someone somewhere might want to put ZillaEzineNetwork.com to use someday.
