Giving to Charit-Ebay

We're big on advocating things around here, from folk singers to children's books. This will be another one of those posts.

Like Hope Foster Home where Lisa worked last summer, Love Without Boundaries is one of those amazing groups that manages to change lives without the benefit of massive resources, celebrity endorsements and the like. Their slogan is, "Every child counts," and what they mean by that is a kid shouldn't be handicapped just because they have a a severely cleft lip, a facial tumor or is a dangerously underweight orphan.

For example, this is Hugo -- on the left is before, and on the right is after. The difference is a heart surgery arranged and paid for by LWB that took him from sickly purple to healthy pink. He got help from LWB because they got help from ordinary people.

And here's one of the ways people can help: Love Without Boundaries is having an art auction fundraiser May 17-22. All you have to do is go to their Ebay store at http://stores.ebay.com/Love-Without-Boundaries-Store and start bidding.

So instead of dropping $1,250,000 on that Bugatti Veyron, how about visiting the auction next week and spending a few bucks on some art? Hugo thanks you in advance.
