We got baby showered

The hotties in this picture, plus others who weren't around for the camera, put together a fantastic baby shower for Lisa. Erin and Gilbert especially pulled out all the hosting stops, and it was all good.

I'm most excited by the wireless baby monitor, especially if there's a hack so they work with a wireless broadband network. And I'm enjoying the two cases of Diet Mt. Dew that I scanned onto our baby registry as a test. Congrats, Mark and Terrell -- you passed.

Now for the latest adoption news: more waiting. Lisa's toying with the idea of going back to China earlier than our January trip (I'd meet up with her there), but it's far from a done deal at this point. Many logistics would have to be arranged, and frankly I think Lisa would rather just play AOE at this point.
