She's Gone

We sang "Leaving on a Jet Plane" on the way to the airport, which was worse than its usual nightmare. I miss her already.




Tuesday update: Our intrepid adventurer in Beijing reports that she is safe and sound and sleepy. After an initial inspection in Charlotte, none of her bags was checked again for the rest of the flight. The only short people she's met so far are children. After a few days in Beijing, she will leave for either Shanghai or Jaiozuo.
