The Lion, the Witch and the Hollywood Hack Job

Congrats to the screenwriters for new Narnia Chronicles movie who managed to read one whole page before taking liberties with the story.

Author C.S. Lewis: "[The children] liked [the professor] almost at once; but on the first evening when he came out to meet them at the front door he was so odd-looking Lucy ... was a little afraid of him."

Screenwriting team of Andrew Adamson, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely and Ann Peacock: "The professor is unaccustomed to having children at this house, and as such there are a few rules we need to follow: there will be no shouting or running. No sliding on the banisters. No touching of the historical artifacts. And above all, there shall be no disturbing of the professor."
